Of course we all know about Michelangelo and the Sistine Chapel, but he is first known as a sculptor. On the opposite side of the sanctuary was another sculpture of St Paul with his cross, but this Michelanglo piece was so far superior to the other artist that I did not even bother to take a picture of the other work.
