Babcock State Park

Babcock State Park

The gristmill at Babcock State Park may be the most photographed object in the state of West Virginia. Yet few of those pictures will show it after a freshly fallen snow. This picture was made possible by a rainy week, followed by a nice overnight snow on Martin Luther King day. While I was there, only one other brave soul ventured down the unplowed road to make a similar picture.
